Enclavix
Delivers Digital Media to the Networked Home
The market is ripe for an
easy, intuitive way to store, organize and access this burgeoning digital
content. Existing solutions such as PCs and digital jukeboxes cost too much and
deliver too little to the digital media consumer. What consumers need and want is the simplicity
of a disk, the integration of a digital jukebox to deliver media to their home
theater systems, with the music management capability they are used to on their
PC, all at a modest price. Enclavix Media Server software offers networked
equipment vendors a rapid way to deliver an exciting consumer server
to market.

The Family Music
Server is designed to permit families to store and organize their music on
their personal web-based music server, and deliver that music to
networked media adapters inside the home.
Families can mix and match tunes, create personalized playlists,
and find specific tracks without having to
memorize the file name or location of hundreds
of files. For the first time, consumers
can have access to all of their music
anywhere inside the home. Stacks of CDs, once converted to
digital format, can be safely stored in an out of the way place, while
the music is enjoyed more often than ever.

Digital cameras and video-recorders are the new
"must-have" accessory for consumers. Unfortunately,
many of them take great digital pictures, use a few for screen savers
or backgrounds, and the rest remain hidden. Digital Video clips
are stored, and viewed, only on the PC. The
Enclavix Digital Picture Carousel powers a great
consumer solution, delivering digital pictures
and digital video to media adapters so it can be
enjoyed on the TV as well as on web-enabled
devices. [more]

The Opportunity is Here
- Because of the tremendous growth in digital content libraries combined
with the introduction of many new media adapters, Parks Associates predicts that over 150 million devices
(PC and CE equipment) will be linked in multi-media- centric home networks by
2007 in U.S. Households, providing a significant opportunity for equipment
vendors.
